Two-Day Retreat

$1200

This experience may also be offered as a full-day workshop for $600.

The second half of life is the spiritual work, the questions of meaning… A human being would certainly not grow to be 70 or 80 years old if this longevity had not meaning for the species to which he belongs.

Soul Work in the Second Half of Life

Soul Work in the Second Half of Life is based on the ElderSpirit Community model of late-life spirituality that flows out of the aging process. Themes include Inner Work, Reverence for Creation, Simple Living, Caring for Oneself, Mutual Support, The Creative Life, and Service.

This series is an opportunity to explore emerging strengths and challenges, dialogue with others at this stage of life’s journey, and experience the well- being generated by companionship. Through story, personal reflection, discussion, and ritual we will examine the questions: Who am I at at 50, 60, 70, 80-plus? What is my purpose now? How do I balance contemplation and action?
